Religious bigotry in Congress is becoming more visible with the malicious attacks against our Freedom of Religion

In a recent hearing by the Judicial Committee in the US Senate during the confirmation of Brian Buescher for the US District Court in Nebraska, two Senators Kamala Harris (D-California) and Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) attacked Mr. Buescher for his membership in the Knights of Columbus, a well know Catholic charitable organization. Both Senators, in a aggressive tone, requested answers from Mr. Buescher regarding his membership in the Knight of Columbus organization and that if he would resign to his membership in this organization should he be confirmed.

This is becoming a systematic attack by the leftist and socialists in the US Congress against our freedom of religion protected by the Constitution of the United States. In Article 6 of the United States Constitution we read, “The Senators and Representatives …………. shall be bound by Oath or affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall be ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.” Dear friends, these two Senators have betrayed our Constitution by requiring a religious Test during the confirmation of Brian Buescher. These two Senators, and others in Congress, made an oath when admitted in the US Congress to protect and carry the duties set forth in the Constitution of the United States and failed their duties to uphold and protect Article 6 of the Constitution. . These two Senators should be impeached and expelled from the United States Senate.

For Christians of all denominations, this is a warning that an attack on any faith based organization, or candidates of faith seeking confirmation by the US Senate to the US Federal Courts and cabinet positions, whether that person is Evangelical Christian or Catholic, is an attack against our values and Christian faith.

By the way, Senator Kamala Harris (D-California),Senator Hirono (D-Hawaii) and well as Senator Cory Bucker (D-New Jersey), were the main actors on the vicious attacks against the confirmation of US Judge Kavanach to the US Supreme Court for his faith values and unsubstantiated sexual harassment. Now, Senator Kamala Harris (D-California) and Senator Cory Bucker (D-New Jersey) are expected to run for President in 2020. Senator Ernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warner, Julian Castro and others are also expected to declare their intentions running for President in 2020 and promote their liberal and progressive ideologies and deny people of faith their participation in the Federal government.

We need to continue educating the Evangelical Christians and Catholics of the danger that these “Satanic Members of Congress” represent for the nation and for our freedom of religion, if they are elected to the White House in 2020. We are calling on the Evangelical Christians and Catholics to join forces with us disseminating this message among friends and members of their congregations to stop the “Anti Christian Attacks” at the federal, state and local government institutions.

We must fight back or be sorry later! We will not allow Religious Persecution in our country. Pray for our nation and Congress to find justice and balance in their decisions. Pray that our Lord puts his hands over our nation to defeat the elements hiding in darkness in our Congress.
