WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE “MEDICARE FOR ALL HEALTH CARE?
As you already know, the Democrats took control the US House of Representative in January, 2019 and some of the 2020 presidential candidates are already endorsing a “MEDICARE FOR ALL,” also known as “single payer healthcare system.” Democrats want to implement this new health care experiment on the entire nation, and it will affect Senior Citizens on Medicare and Medicare Advantage.
Under the “MEDICARE FOR ALL” health care recipients will be covered with doctors, hospitals, dental, vision, especial medical procedures, prescription drugs and medical supplies. But, do you believe this?
Do you remember the original promises by the Obamacare? If we go back to 2009, we can recall that President Obama, and the Democrat majority in Congress at that time, made the following promise regarding the Obamacare, “we will keep this promise: if you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period.” This promise was repeated 24 times by the President Obama, This promise was never fulfilled. Can we trust our Congress with another healthcare system?
Perhaps you forgot that the ObamaCare (Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act) transferred funds from the MEDICARE to the Obamacare in the amount of $ 716 BILLION. These funds were going to be transferred to the Obamacare during a period of 10 years in a form of MEDICARE savings. These funds were taken away from the MEDICARE to cover the health care costs of new MEDICAID participants under Obamacare. My friends under the proposed “MEDICARE FOR ALL” we will be big losers again.
Now the democrats in Congress want to save face repairing the failing Obamacare health care system with another dysfunctional health care experiment to bankrupt the nation. Read my lips, this new “MEDICARE FOR ALL” will be another failure. There are already several proposals being considered by the liberal and socialist democrats in Congress and each of them are as complicated as the OBAMACARE. It is important to note that, in 2018 Congress tried repealing and replacing the Obamacare but failed in the Senate with a NO Vote from Senator John McCain.
Many of the 2020 Democrats presidential candidates are already endorsing the “MEDICARE FOR ALL” as a political gimmick to attract the support of millions of misinformed voters. These presidential candidates, and others in Congress, have had little time studying the feasibility and economic consequences of this health care system and they are already endorsing it. These candidates want to eliminate the Private Health Care Insurance Companies and convert the Federal government in another health care administrator. This, in itself, will be a nightmare for our economy by eliminating millions of jobs and a logistics problem for the consumers of health care.
But not all Democrat presidential candidates, with some common sense and business experience, are supporting the “MEDICARE FOR ALL.” Former Mayor of the City of New York, Michael Bloomberg, and Former Starbucks CEO, Howard Schultz, are not supporting the “MEDICARE FOR ALL” health care proposals. They claim that “MEDICARE FOR ALL” will be too costly and it will bring our economy to bankruptcy for years to come.
We also know from previous experience that all the programs that the federal government has embarked on over the years had financial problems and today the Obamacare is not an exception.
The estimated cost for a “MEDICARE FOR ALL,” also known as single payer health care system is $3.2 trillion a year, or $32.6 Trillion in 10 years. This cost will drive our economy into bankruptcy; when added to the present National Debt of $21 Trillion. Just the interest to be paid on the additional debt will hurt the economy and it will affect every working person in the United States, and it will create another economic recession. A “MEDICARE FOR ALL” health care system will require tax increases and higher premiums to pay for it and further harm the budget of every American family and every person in the United States.
WHO ARE THE PROPONENTS OF THE MEDICARE FOR ALL HEALTH CARE?
At this time, most of the proponents of the “MEDICARE FOR ALL are the 2020 Democrats presidential candidates. Among them are, Senator Kamala Harris (D- California), Senator Cory Booker (D- New Jersey), better known as Spartacus, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-New York), Julian Castro (D-Former HUD Secretary), Bernie Sanders (D-Vermont) and other candidates soon will join the list.
In our US Congress there are 69 socialists members of Congress supporting the MEDICARE FOR ALL health care system. These 69 members of Congress are calling themselves “progressive democrats” are endorsing failed socialist ideologies of the past. For your information, the Democratic Socialists of America, or DSA, is responsible for the founding of the Democrat Congressional Progressive Caucus, or CPC, the largest membership organization within the Democratic Caucus of the US Congress. Are you aware that the Democratic Socialists of America’s goal has been to remove the stigma of socialism by working in the Democratic Party organization to deceive the American people?
These 69 Congress members are elected to Congress in strong Democrat Districts. Other socialists recently elected to Congress and supporting the MEDICARE FOR ALL” are Alexandra Ocasio Cortez (D-New York), Rashida Tlaib (D-Michigan) and Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota). For your information, Tlaib and Omar were endorsed by the Democratic Socialists of America.
Just for comparison, the latest example of a failed socialist’s ideology and a failed health care system is found in the country of Venezuela. The Venezuelan socialist regime has turned a prosperous country into misery for its citizens and their health care system is in despair with lack of medicines, poor medical services and doctors and nurses leaving the country. Today, Venezuela lacks food and basic necessities. Yet, our US Congress is ignoring these facts and want to bring the US economy and our health care system into the ground. Same situation is experienced in the socialist regime in Cuba.
WHAT CHRISTIANS MUST DO TO DEFEAT THE ASSAULT FROM THE LEFT?
Our nation is facing a great danger today and our US Congress is moving too far to the left. We have too many socialist members in the US Congress trying to pass radical laws to reform our health care system, supporting late term abortions, denying our religious freedom, pushing for climate change, increasing taxes, pushing to eliminate the fossil fuel industry, wipe out the 2nd. Amendment and destroying the American Dream.
Are we Christians seating on the bleaches in our Dolphin Stadium watching the opposite team beating on our rights, on our freedom of religion and on our Constitution to death? Christians, it is time to get off the bench to do our part.
Boycott, protest, join faith based organization fighting for our rights, call or write your Congressman to let your voice be heard and vote for candidates sharing our values and protecting the future of our nation, our children and our grandchildren.
We are running out of time, be active and engage in the political process to save our nation from self destruction. The future of our nation and our religious freedom are in our hands.
